 Automatic bilge pump
Anyone got a recommendation for an automatic bilge pump?

 Re: Automatic bilge pump
I'm glad I don't have to deal with those anymore but get one that will pump more water out than your plug will let in.

 Re: Automatic bilge pump
Rule, attwood, or get a normal bilge and add a separate float switch and keep an extra in the boat. Then, if it ever doesn't work when you check it, you only have to swap the switch.

 Re: Automatic bilge pump
man, I run the rulematic pump in my skiff since 2004 or so, maybe an 1100gph or so? I run a rule 2500 or bigger in all my other boats with a separate flipper switch. I run a 3700 or a 4000 in my bay boat when I had it. ran two 2500 rule pumps in my big airboat.
I have run the atwood 1100 automatic in a boat for a few years and it worked with no issues. when I go to sleep at the camp I don't worry about my boat sinking.
no matter what u choose, don't be a dildo!! Spend the money on a good setup. your boat sinking because you didn't get good equipment is not the way to go!!
