 Best Surface Drive for stumpsAny opinions on the best surface drive for stumps? Was looking at PD’s but have heard they aren’t the best on stumps . Anyone confirm this ?

Re: Best Surface Drive for stumps Shit. I beat the woods down with a Prodrive. It's literally built like a bush hog with a gear box. You'll choke the motor down before you tear it up.

Re: Best Surface Drive for stumps My vote would be ProDrive as well. I have a buddy that hunts north Toledo bend and he has ran PD for about 15 years. He hasn’t had a single out drive failure and I can personally tell you that he abuses his boats.

Where did you hear that? I would run not walk from whoever said that Even the cool aid brigade has to admit that You can argue reverse, mud, speed other things but not stumps. PD is a beast on stumps. |

Re: Best Surface Drive for stumps Yes they are, BUT............... if you have a tiller handle and have an older modle, you better modify the handle and make it a floating handle. CC, no problem, tiller (older setup) non floating means your drive arm will allow you to win many arm wrestling contest from the workout.
