 Long tail with tunnel hull

Post Long tail with tunnel hull
Using an existing boat with a tunnel hull and trying to make it adequate for a 14hp long tail. Boat is 58” x 12’ long. Boat is not ideal, but river worthy. Will a tunnel hull provide the prop to ride high? Any feedback is appreciated.

No real experience here with that type of setup, but with the cav plate properly adjusted it should run just fine.
