What is a good average idle rpm for the 35. Mine tends to speed up gradually while in neutral. It will get up to 1400 rpm sometimes. I bump the throttle and it will drop to about 930. Thats about where Id like it to stay but it slowly speeds back up. Just curious.

1100-1200 should be good.

Mine idles around 750-800 in gear with stock carb. Around 1000 in neutral.

Mine used to do that until I lowered the idle speed to 1150 and made sure my governer was set to 4250 then it idled great and consistant. Beofre the adjustments it would idle erraticly

Ok set the gov. at what ever you wont wfo ou the water i say 4200 is good.. After you got that bend this little arm with the spring to get your idel perfect!! Fork the idel screw!!
