Don't know about yours but my tank has 1.5" od filler neck. It was built by someone else though. 1.5" is probably standard but who knows what brother uses.

That's rivets. Get a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the head of the rivet. Drill till the head pops off. It'will start to spin when the head pops off. Then jus hit what's left with a philip screw driver an hammer.I

the reason I haven't done that yet is because it will drop it in the tank and then im not sure how to get it out. the cap is boogered up and I cant get it to spin anymore

The rivits will not fall into the tank. I just installed the same one in my boat. Can you not look under there.

u can loosen the nut on the underside of the cap and it will prob let u turn it. No the rivets wont fall out if drilled. Theres a hose clamp on the bottom side of deck ext. if loosening the nut doesn't fix ur issue, drill out the rivets, loosen the clamp and pull out the old fuel fill, drop a new one in, tighten clamp, only put back 2-3 rivets. I helped Joe install that one, got the same one, he riveted the shit outta his! lol

Call the company ans see if you can just get a new cap. No need to replace the whole thing.

decided to mess with it one more time before I drilled the rivets out and soaked it in some free all for about 20 minutes. of course it had to be the last time that I was gonna fool with it that it decided to free up and all is well now!
