Changing seals and bushings on a gdlt
I'm wondering how hard it is to change out the seals and bushings on a gdlt. Hoping somebody might have put together some pictures or a how-to thread.

So it's a really simple job- Remove the shaft - change the seals no problem The bushing are a bit tricky - you need to pop them out - I used a puller - simple take out and replace I suggest removing the current grease and refilling it - you don't have to - but it's a good idea Put everything back where it needs to be - insert shaft keyside first - do not send the threads through your new seals - grease it up - attach the yoke - go play! Really simple to do I've done it a few times - let me know if you run into any snags

Use a hacksaw blade and make about four or five cuts through the bushing. No need and much easier that a puller.

Why would one take a bushing out and reuse it later? If it's worn to shit it will still be worn to shit when you put it back in. If it's still good leave it in, no need to pull it out for a seal job.
