My boat wants to pull to the right while running an I have to constantly pull the handle towards me.. Is this normal or can something be adjusted to cure this problem?

What motor? It should have a tab on the skeg u can bend to offset the prop.

Could be a few things. As robin said check your skeg, but it could be something as minor as adjusting the weight in your boat or your motor could be sitting too far to one side of your transom.

I'm running a scanengrr backwater 25 hp on a 14ft v bottom. And I've tried moving the weight around and the motor is in the middle.. But it also runs to the right real bad when I get it in the mud.. So I don't know what to do. This is the first mud motor I've owned so I don't know much about them and how they act

longtail or surface drive?

if surface drive, you need to bend the offset tab on the skeg or trim your motor up higher while running.

if longtail, assuming correct mount position, you need to shift weight left and right until there is no tiller torque whatsoever. one person sitting all the way to one side will wear you out fighting the handle.

If the boat has alot of v, that can be the problem.

It's a lt and its a semi v not a lot of "v" in the water tho I have tried to move things around and shift weight but it don't help.. I'll keep messing with it I guess.. Thanks for the help guys!!
