Dude that video was awesome, congrats. Yeah I never had as much fun in an outboard as I did my longtail, now I can't wait to get a surface drive!

Re: i love my mud boat
i have the big blade prop and stock gears, proflow heads, cam, carb, roller rockers and lifters, exhaust and 5100 rev chip. i am sure i might be able to get a few more mph by playing with the trim some more, plus i am new to mud motor's but not new to boats, i run very good at 4000 rpms 25-26 2 guys, but my boat is a 16ft 50" wide and almost 500lbs and not a mud motor boat, so i am happy with my numbers Lenny

Re: i love my mud boat
Is the skeg bent on the bottom at all? If its pushing towards you, bend it to the left if your looking at the prop from the back. If its pushing away, bend it to the right. It takes very little, sometimes just a 1/4". Id try it, you should get higher than 4200 without much tiller torque.
