 1860 GT Xtreme / 35 GTR
I've been reading MMT for the past year and finally put my order in this spring and I'm quite pleased with the purchase. First, I’d like to say thanks to those of you that answered my questions in PMs. In reading over the past year, I was particularly impressed with 3 different boats: GT, Uncle-J’s, and Aucoin. I ended up choosing a GT and being that this is my first mud boat the folks at GT were very patient and had good advice with all of my questions. Anyway, I have it set up for both duck hunting and fishing. In the summer, I plan on leaving both rod boxes and the bench box in the back in for fishing. In the fall, I plan on leaving just one rod box in and putting the blind on. So, here are the numbers: All numbers are with all 3 boxes, 2 batteries, ~8 gallons, winch, & trolling motor, & misc gear in deep water. (Plus, I’m babying it a bit; b/c the motor is Hoytafied)
4 people – 26-27
1 person – 30
I’ll let you know what it is running in the fall empty.

Mikuni carb, cam, rods, valves, MM exhaust, and he took down the heads a little. What do you think? Should I be going faster?

When I went down to pick up the boat we had Prejean’s for breakfast in Lafayette. I have to say it was excellent, but is it typical that ya’all put crawfish etoufee on your breakfast?

 Re: 1860 GT Xtreme / 35 GTR
It looks like the boat is setup to accept a bow fishing deck? Are you planning on adding one later? Looks to be several spud holes around your bow area.

 Re: 1860 GT Xtreme / 35 GTR
There's only one spud pole hole, it's just to side of where the swamp lights attach. The other 4 holes are for bow fishing rails.
BTW: Disregard that GD in the background that my blind is on. It might even be for sale after my buddy checks out this new rig!
