removing ujoint from 23 GD longtail
I took the motor off of the frame, and I'm trying to get the joint off of the crankshaft. I tried to knock the key out like i did for the driveshaft side but it ain't going, I want the joint completely off of the motor/crankshaft not just the u joint out of the yokes. I searched for this and couldnt find any answers

Re: removing ujoint from 23 GD longtail
I put a 3 jaw pulley puller and heated the yoke till it was red, and that did not work. The last time I removed the yoke on the motor side I carefully cutting it off. It was a B#@*^. Good luck

Both the UJ yoke and the crankshaft are both carbon steel and liable to rust together because of the wet environment. So soak the thing in some kind of rust loosen all from the auto parts people for a while. It will make a difference.
