 Another newbie question
I have a 27hp beavertail. So far I love it, but the owners manual leaves a little to be desired. Im going riding around tomorrow, so I decided to grease everything. How much grease do I put in the shaft zerk? Should I keep pumping until I see grease coming out from the upper and/or the lower seals? Or should I just put a few pumps in every time I go out?

 Re: Another newbie question
put a few pumps in it every 10hours.If you fill it where you see lube come out the seals it may be too late because the seals are made to hold the lube in and water out. sometimes if you put too much grease in the zerk it will force the water out and that would be ok to but to be on the safe side, I would only do a pump or two after every run and make it a habit.
