Hey guys

New to mud motors, i have a GD 16hp with a 1648 mod v. Bought the rig used and was sorta surprised when the guy told be it wouldn't plan out. Took it out over the weekend and everything seems to run well but didn't get on plan.

Is it not enough motor or do i need to adjust something?

could be a worn prop but theese motors are designed to run on flat bottom boats not mod. v

It's a mod v hull, and only a 16hp lt. Some 35hp surface drives have trouble stepping mod v hulls. Before I went messing with stuff I'd get a true flat bottom boat, to get that out of the equation.
