will the motor work on my boat?
I have a Lobells custom craft built in louisiana. Its a 14'x42" semi-v, the boat is all welded and open in the middle. I am looking at buying a 2001 25hp go devil long tail on friday. I am just curious if this motor is goin to work good on this boat before I buy it. I hate to spend 1500 on the motor and turn around and it be to big, so if you could let me know your opinions I would greatly appreciate it.

Orangefoot has a 25 on a 1448 and it is great! Sure he will say something. Probably would be better on a flat bottom boat.

Re: will the motor work on my boat?
so the semi v will hurt it? Here in tennessee we aint got the mud flats like down there but just low water during duck season. Thought it would be easier to get around with one of them

do you think the boat would handle the motor though?
