Post emergancy phone #
Well lets see a lot of use hunt alone in these mud boats , somtimes good ,somtimes bad
case in point today i got stuck badly , i have a nephew with a mm but he works in la for weeks at a time there was only 1 trailer at the ramp <broke rule #1 i dont go out with less than 4 trailers>
lake is low so it changes every week now where i when opening day is now impassable , so i started to get shallow gun it to get on plane < broke rule #2 in the dark idle , or fast idle >
I know no one else with a boat so my son came out and waited to get some one with a flat bottom or such to come get me and worry about the boat < i was damn near heat exshastion>
to get me in air cond and cool off finaly a guy came along with a boat and motor came and got me off the lake , and him and my son got the boat floating agian < thanks a whole lot Arron bless ya boy > .This brings me to my question what would yall think about say a call list for rescue on lakes close by ya i would be good for palastine , and marvaul , Oh and the wardens dont have a boat that will get to use at palistine fire dept will not try unless life threating. yea this happen on palistine.
thanks to all
Mac

Glad your ok. That could have been bad.

Are you thinkin like there would be one person with a list of numbers and you would call that person and he would get someone on the way? It's a neat idea but might be hard to get done. I think someone else posted something similar to this a while back.

how about we start a thread with our phone numbers and the general area you hunt in? People can look through it and if a person is close to where you hunt put them in your contacts and call if you have an emergency.

I'm guessing you will have a hard time getting anyone to post up their personal info on the web. You could start one asking the general area's we are close to, and people could pm others close to them and exchange names and numbers. I have exchanged info with a few in my area already, mainly for emergency purposes.
