Comments: I absolutly love my boat. Charles built me the boat that I had been thinking of for quite some time now. Its length makes it jump on step almost right away and can stay on step at very low rpms. Couldnt really make it slide in deep water. Went through a little mud, didnt slide to bad i could control it, but didnt get a speed on it in the mud yet. Went through alot of lilly pads, grass, hydrilla, and some floatons boat went over everything really easily even on dryed up dead lillies. For its size, and amount of braces, I think i get pretty good speeds out of it and it handles very well. I have 2 inch flat bar running long ways with 3/16 square tubing going across, and square tubing also running down center flat bar for extra strength and to suppor the double bottom. Boat is pretty damn heavy and definitly very solid. I used DURALUX- ALUMINUM BOAT GREEN paint (uncle J told me about it). I rolled it on and cut in with a brush, you can not tell that i didnt spray it. Paint went on so smooth (and i put it full strength, didnt thin it at all). I only ran it once so far, but i didnt have any paint missing off my boat yet (though i know i will wear some off with time) but paint is very smooth and slick and really helps slide over vegi's in my opinion. Going ride all day tomorrow to put it through some more stuff. I will post pictures and speeds tomorrow evening. went through some bare mud and boat scooted along really good, didnt require much throttle to keep me going at a decent speed
