what is that thing called that is at the bttom of your go-devil that helps guide it in the water i guess? anyways its bent to the side, will this affect the way i drive. if so how can i fix it?

Cavitation plate, he must have hit something pretty freaking hard...lol Yeah it'll definitly need to be bent back for sure, thats the heart of the motor steering and driving correctly!

no its not the cavation plate its the skegg,sorry, any tips to bend it back straight?

level and a hammer i guess or when i bent mine i just put it in the vice and tighten it up and it went back to straight

not really bad, say the skegg would be the hand of a clock and if its straight it would be at 12 o'clock.the skegg is at about 2 o'clock

previous owner may have done it tryin to counteract what lil bit of torque that 13 has?
