 gdsd tabs by prop
I was hunting in the marsh this weekend in about 6" of water, mud and weeds. When i would go to take off with my motor trimmed all the way down i would start moving along good then i would have to pick my prop out the water and start all over again because the weeds would pile up on those two little tabs before the prop.
Would i be able to cut those little tabs off ? Would it harm my performance at all ?
Any help would be nice THANKS

 Re: gdsd tabs by prop
those little tabs keep your motor from kicking out the water while running on step. Highly recommend not cutting them off.

 Re: gdsd tabs by prop
i cut mines off when i had my gdsd 35 ran through the weeds much better!! gave me better performance taking off in the shallows even gave me more top speed it was a BITC# to keep the prop in the water when running anywhere above 1/2 throttle and on plane!!! i would not recommend doing it

 Re: gdsd tabs by prop
and dont get the great idea of sharpening them either. it just makes them easier to nick up, therefore grabbing even more sh*t
