 gdsd tabs by prop I was hunting in the marsh this weekend in about 6" of water,mud and weeds.
When i would go to take off with my motor trimmed all the way down i would start moving along good then i would have to pick my prop out the water and start all over again because the weeds would pile up on those two little tabs before the prop.
Would i be able to cut those little tabs off ?
Would it harm my performance at all ?
Any help would be nice THANKS

Re: gdsd tabs by prop those little tabs keep your motor from kicking out the water while running on step. Highly recommend not cutting them off.

ran through the weeds much better!!
gave me better performance taking off in the shallows
even gave me more top speed
it was a BITC# to keep the prop in the water when running anywhere above 1/2 throttle and on plane!!!
i would not recommend doing it

Re: gdsd tabs by prop and dont get the great idea of sharpening them either. it just makes them easier to nick up, therefore grabbing even more sh*t
