Re: pd vs. gator tail, mud buddy
I have a Prodrive and run that type of terrain and have had no problems. I have a podnah that had a mudbuddy and he does well, the only difference i see is his prob grinds on the stumps when he cant get it outta da water soon enough. Its all personal preference.

They all will run stumps well. Drive each and see which best suits you.

Re: pd vs. gator tail, mud buddy
I think the thick construction of the L.U. and gears on a pd would handle the abuse better than a belt drive and shaft.

Re: pd vs. gator tail, mud buddy
I hit at least 25 stumps a trip with my pro-drive normally at around 15mph. With the occasional impact at 25mph. The only thing that has been hurt is my wrist and pride when I do a faceplant. I was concerned about my motor on the stumps when I got it. It's made out of harder materials than stumps are.
