unfortunately im still at school for exam week but will be able to get her on the boat thursday and hopefully get some time on the water (or mud!!)....its a 98 vanguard with very low hours....ive read the manual about 3 times in the midst of studying for exams just so i know everything i can for now but any tips from you experienced guys for my first mud motor? ie tips on getting used to the handling or anything else? thanks for all of the advice in making a purchase and what sort of engine modifications should i look at doing in the future?

just get out there and get some stick time. get comfortable with it before doing anything stupid.
