im looking at buying my engine from this place, they have 35 briggs on ebay for 1700, has anyone else dealt with this place before?

I see you decided on getting a new engine, that's good for you. I've never dealt with them but they a have almost 9k positive feedbacks on ebay so I highly doubt you'll have a problem and they only accept pay pal so you'll be even more protected if something were to go wrong.

and also, ive seen about several different model 35 briggs horizontals with 1 1/8 shaft 4 inch long, i know there are all different configs for throttle and choke. are the shaft dimensions the only thing to be concerned about?

I have purchased a 24 Honda from them. Was an easy transaction. Delivery was by freight, I had to unload it from trailer to my truck myself. Freight company will call with delivery date and time. I am lucky to have a friend up the street that has a place for a truck and trailer rig to back up in. Anyways the transaction with Brand new engines went very well.
