What is the point of having a mudmotor if you get suck every time you stop in mud with very little or no water? I had to pull my friends 35 GTR out 3 times this weekend with my 36 pd FPR. I was able to back up right next to his boat tie on and get his 2 people out of his boat and then take off and pull him out

1) your friend doesn't know how to drive

2) he's in NASTY MUD

3) all of them get stuck, there are tons of videos of gtrs going through stuff that pd get stuck in , and vis versa ..
( so get off your fkn high horse)

ha come on out you will see that ALL of them do get stuck if you push your boat!

I'm not trying to say I have the baddest boat and I'm not trying to say that I cant get stuck cuz I have left my boat over night to wait for high tide but I when 2 boats are side by side and one can't move and the other can take off and pull the other one out the that tells me that the one that's is stuck does not perform as well in mud. And it doesn't matter if they know how to drive or not (even thought they do quite well) because if you stop to pick up a dead duck and then need to take off no diving skills are needed.

I am 100% behind PD, but in the soupy mud, the GTR, GD, and MB Will go further. They just may take a little longer to get out. It's all about digging deep into the mud. Those ones listed above are able to go deeper, THoUGH... With the extended shafts comes more tiller torque . Pro drives idea has always been, to have a shallow water OUTBOARD. Not a shorter model long tail

if your in clear water thats a true statement ;
i'm not saying i'm a pro driver by any means , hell i'm still a newbie. but that being said i've had a buddy in my boat who owns a mm. and i was letting him drive and he couldn't get us unstuck. i went back to the controls and got us unstuck in about two mins. you cant tell me that was just by pure luck. (not saying he cant drive , just that i know how to make my boat unstuck in most situations. )

And just to clear this up I was not trying to talk chit I just know what happened over the weekend so all y'all the are getting all huffy over this calm down. I told bassmaster to leave the tow rope home cuz I thought he needed to get off his high horse himself. The whole reason behind this thread was to find out if all gtr's get stuck easy like my buddy's so I would love to go ride with who ever is up for a ride to see the difference. I want to push my boat to the limit and hopfully there as another badazz boat there to pull me out
