I have a beavertail longtail that needs a new prop. I am running a 35+ hp motor on a 1652 lowe roughneck. currently not getting on plane and would like more speed. What would you suggest for a prop?

Get a new 10x6. Maybe yours is worn out already

It depends on the load you carry, You say 35+hp. Get the biggests prop you can turn without bogging the motor when the boat is loaded.

do i need a low number on the pitch or higher

10x6 works for me. My normal hunting load runs around 800lbs.
