hopkins vs hill vs gd props which is best prop for lt?
Getting a new prop wondering which one is the best performing one out of hopkins, hill, or gd for a lt? I have read mixed reviews on here but not enough to make up my mine. Any suggestions?

I know the Ron Hill props are the cheaper way to go, I dont know how they perform but i will be trying one on my 31hp GDLT soon!

well i going with the hopkins mud buster it seemed to have the better reviews on here ill be putting a 9 x 4 on a 16hp on a 1436 alumacraft rivet flat hopefully it will work out good i had a 8 x 4 when i took my 9hp off and ran the 16hp on it and was making 16 mph so maybe with the 9 x 4 ill be pushing close to 20 mph crossing my fingers at least

Re: hopkins vs hill vs gd props which is best prop for lt?
I had better luck with Ron Hill on my 16hp briggs.
Go devil sold me two props, I wanted one with more pitch and they said anymore than 9 x 3 wouldnt work with my 16.
I got a deal on a 9x5 and put it on. It gained some top end and I cant really tell much of a difference unless it gets diggin the thicker mud, then it boggs a little worse, but still performs.
Most of the water I run is shallow with a sandy bottom, so I prefer a long tail

I love my ron hill prop. my boat has never gone faster and gotten up on plane easier than it did when I put a new 9x5 hill prop on my rig. let us know how you do with your hopkins tho..
