I was told by a dealer they were discontinued because they sucked. They weren't all that and a bag of chips. Lol.
I didn't say my rig could go through as much, if not more. I'm saying a 27 on the right hull. I would damn sure try though.

i will quote this here again.... if you run swamps with stumps.... steelflex is a waste you your good hard earned money.... useless to you... offers no protection.... steelflex is a friction reducer for larger surface area contact situations..... high centered on a stump your still screwed

well the water has been high around my house, but i did mange to go take a lil spin after school on wensday.....found some shallow areas, id say 5 inches of water and all i can say is DAMN, now that i learned hot to surface my prop and stuff i can go through so much more shallow stuff......now i have another question, what size boat would yall get for a 13 h.p longtail? i was thinking 14x42 bottom? what yall think?

A 16x40 would be pretty good
