 Utah Marsh Motors
Hey, I've been on the snoop for a small light longtail for my 1236 G3 Jon.
I've been looking at all the mfg's and I've been most impressed so far with the Utah Marsh Motors. Aluminum frame, adjustable angle on the handle, and just a beefy looking deseign. Plus, the price seems like a real deal aswell, for such a machine.
I have been speaking with Mark Cheney about these motors he builds, and he really seems like a good honest fella, that beleives in his product. impressive fella imho.
Anybody running one of these motors? I did a search, and came up with some older threads, with good things to say about them, but I'm hoping for a current review from somebody.
Thanks boys, this site rawks! Steve-O.

 Re: Utah Marsh Motors
I live near Mark and I have had him work on my GDLT and your absolutely right. He is a good guy! I have seen his motors upclose and personal and they look nice, but I already have a GD, or I would buy one of his motors. He's got a good design and makes a quality product. I hear lots of guys are putting his motors on layout boats.. anywho. He's a good guy and takes great pride in his work.
Gee
Ps- other than Marks product, have you looked at the copperhead motors? I hear those are pretty cool for small motors.

 Re: Utah Marsh Motors
Yep, the copperheads look like a great set up aswell. And keep getting some awesome reviews too.
I was looking more towards the longtail for where I'd mostly be using my little jon, and the utah MM really looked liked a good one.
Thanks for the help.
Dux.
