i absolutely have to buy a boat before this season and i am leaning heavily toward a pro-dive.
can anyone tell me if this is the best idea and IF so can you also tell me what would be the best boat type and size to go along with it. i am trying to get different opinions to see what would be the best route for me to take.

Test drive as many brands as u can without a doubt. Size ideal for me and my conditions was a 1751. Another consideration is do u want to go manufactured boat or have one custom built and the list goes on and on. Just don't rush into a purchase without seat time. Hate for u to make a 13k-18k mistake

What kind of terrain do you run in?

How much weight will you be carrying?

What kind of speeds are you lookin for?

Definitely test drive a few boats, but from experience...like many others on here, custom is the way to go. You get what you want to your specs for about the same price in the end. You don't want to buy a boat that already has a floor plan...we did and sold it this year because we didn't have enough room/storage. If you are going to buy new, do it right the first time!!!

talk to uncle j and tell him what you want in a boat and he will hook you up and for motors test drive them all and see which one you like running the best!

If you don't have any more of a clue than that get yourself another hobby........
