Relocating Tiny Tack on PD 36??
Anyone move their TT so that it is easier to view when running? I plan on mounting mine on top of the "brain box"/ trim box. I made a bracket for it to mount to, but am wondering the best way to run the wire over to the tiller shaft?
Thanks for any input.

Dats where I mounted mine. I made a bracket to cover the key cause I done broke a few off running the buckbrush and trees. Just zip tied the wire along the handle with the others.

Thks Poker. looks good.
What path did you use to run the wire to the handle? behind, in front or through the motor housing? Did you remove anything from the motor to fish the wire easier?
thks

Just wrap it around the port side plug wire. one wire is as good as the other, your just reading the pulse. They should fire the same amount of times (+-1)

What I am really after is what was the cable path you went with to relocate the TT. For instance, mine has the TT wire spooled up and I need to run the wire to the other side of the motor to its new location. Where did you run the wire through to the new location?
I know it is a little anal of a question, but just want to know if there is a preferred cable path.

Re: Relocating Tiny Tack on PD 36??
I just swapped the TT wire to the tiller side plug wire. Either plug wire will work so it doenst make a difference. On the tiller side the plug wire is at the rear of the tiller handle so just run it up with zip ties.

Re: Relocating Tiny Tack on PD 36??
Thanks for the help fellas. I plan on connecting the TT to the tiller side spark plug as BK and Poker mentioned. That makes alot more sense.
Thanks again.
