Im new to the MM world and am looking to buy a boat and motor, where should i look in the shreveport area cause after reading on here i agree i need to test drive the different motors before i decide.

U can prob go the different manufacture web sites and look for their dealers or maybe they can put u in touch with some of their boat owners in your area to give u some test rides....just a thought.

Good luck. I called the dealers there and was told they don't have any to test drive.

well this isnt starting off too good. Id be willing to drive a few hours if someone here has a dealership they really love with a service department they like too, let me know.

There's a gator tail dealer in bossier city

H&W marine opened a new store in Bossier and get the same stuff as Marshall and Tyler. However they won't have any to test drive this time of year either.

There are a few folks on this site in that area that have rigs that might be willing to take you out

bayou outdoors is a dealer for gatortail, a buddy of mine just went down there on saturday and they had a few there to look at. not sure where its located thats just the name that he told me

Ya ive actually been by H&W in bossier and bayou outdoor supercenter for a differnet boat so ill probably start off by talking to them but probably end up making a trip down south.

You dont go to a dealer, you go to where they are made!

go direct and cut the middle man....HW has some good people but SUCK IMO....

A dealer will take your service money no matter what you purchas from them.

Go to Loreauville and test drive a gatortail and a Prodrive. Buy which ever one you want directly from them. Having a good "relationship" with a dealer isn't going to matter much when it comes to service, since anyone around here really sucks in the service dept. A good relationship with the manufacturer will get you a lot more in the long run.
