 Need someone to build me a fuel tank Thinking about having a fuel tank built for my boat and wondering who y'all suggest. I had one built for my last boat, but i wasn't really pleased with the tank or the price.

Re: Need someone to build me a fuel tank Saw one for sale a while back. Might have been on here, but can't remember. Just curious, why not buy a plastic tank? Not a portable, but the permanant mounted tanks.

Re: Need someone to build me a fuel tank I have a 12 gal tank now. But with the rake of the boat, I can only put 9.5 gals in it. If I block it up where it sits flat, I can't get the gas pump hose into the tank without pulling the tank out from under the deck.

Re: Need someone to build me a fuel tank Aluminum tanks are labor intensive, like J said. If it will be a basic shape, having a piece of aluminum bent to the approximate size will save much labor. U just gotta get someone to to bend it. Not sure if J gotta press.

Need someone to build me a fuel tank Just finished up the tank. I bought the materials, had it bent at a local fab shop and my buddy welded it up for me. Gotta take it out in the morning and drill out the mounting tabs then put it all back and bolt her down. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Re: Need someone to build me a fuel tank *Pics Added* Got the tank finished up today. 15 gal tank. Fill thru the deck. Electronic sending unit. Illuminated fuel gauge. I'm pleased with the way it came out.

Need someone to build me a fuel tank Thanks fellas. Looking forward to getting a chance to run the boat now. Worked on that project all weekend. On call till 7:30 tonight. Might have to make an evening ride if I don't get called.
