 Yoke Rating
Talked to my parts guy today and said that my yoke hadn't come in yet, however he did say that they were only rated for 1000 rpms. I know this sounds bad, but how can this be? Small engines turn a PTO on all kinds of machines faster than that dont they? is this something to worry about, or should I order different parts?
Oh and im probably going to build some kind of cover that fits over the frame in case one or both of the yokes decides that it would rather be shrapnel than a mud motor...

 Re: Yoke Rating
I'm not sure how long it will hold up but I think as long as you have a cover over the yoke then you will be fine when it become shrapnel ......just make sure to use thick enough steel. Here is the site where I got my yoke from... there wasn't an rpm range listed so I will be making a cover for mine as well. I think the cover is also helpful to keep my fingers and sticks out of the yoke.

 Re: Yoke Rating
If you think you may get your fingers caught in it, you don't need to be running a mudmotor.

You need a lil thicker skin around here son. Think before you type because everyone here will pick apart a post piece by piece and reply accordingly.
