 u joint cover
anyone make a cover for their ujoint area?? im looking at pics of the mud buddys and im thinking about making one like theirs. What kind of material is it made from?

a little expanded metal would look good. honestly, i wouldnt worry about it, if ya built it right and the keyways arent slipping out or anything it shouldnt be a threat. keep the joint greased..

the cover on my beavertail is material you would find on a good blind 1000 denier condura. Keeps the grease from flying around

you can get those button snaps at any hobby store and make your own if you can sew...if not take the piece if fabric to an upholstery shop and get it sewed. shouldnt be more than 15 bucks... thats what i did with my old mud buddy longtail...
