 Re: My New Mud Rig
I got a blue 2000 300 4X4 HONDA I have it snorkled, with a f04 tractor pipe, stage 2 jet kit, 54% gear reduction, 300ex head(4 valves instead of 2), 355 BBK kit, rear brake axle paddle, 424, front locker. had 29.5 laws on it but tired of breaking front axles so now its sitting on 28x10.5 Terminators. Been debaiting on swapping the front diff for a rincon diff so i can go IRS in the rear with a rincon rearend also. trying to hold off obn that cause that conversion is gonna run me 2g's easy.

 Re: My New Mud Rig
i got the bike about a year ago for 1000 smoking and went ahead and did the motor work on it. got about 3400 all together. only think i had done was the BBK bore and sleave. ang got the cluch basket built by a guy from highlifter.com. he builds the reductions or 300's. he has a 15% and a 54%. I'll keep this bike forever.

 Re: My New Mud Rig
That sounds like a unstoppable bike.. I used to stay on highlifter forums, and ended up getting a 300 and did alot of the same mods you have done to your to mine, it had the 300ex heads, not quite as big of a gear reduction, and had a IRS conversion with 28 silverbaks. Loved the thing, a guy named bret (solitude) on highlifter helped me with it.

 Re: My New Mud Rig
I've thought about getting rid of it a few times and getting a Ranger instead. But I know I'd regret it almost immediately after I sold it.
The tires are too big for it but that's what makes it fun.

 Re: My New Mud Rig
Speaking of, does anyone know a good ATV mechanic in South Louisiana? I need to get my carb cleaned and have a light coat of oil on the head that I'd like someone to look at.
