Post NEED HELP 2008 1860 excel slick bottom
im looking at buying a 2008 excel slick bottom from a guy and was wondering your thoughts and opinions on this boat before i do anything. Whats different from 2008-2011. weight, or handleing anything would help. I plan on putting on my 35hp MB SD. I have exhaust, carb and head work done will this push this boat good enough. I know alot of people had problems with the midwest edition 1754 i believe. i dont know what the actual name for this hull is. Thanks guys

Find out what the hull thickness is. If its only .100 don't get it IMO. You would be alot better off finding a thicker gauged hull that will hold up to a little abuse. Your motor will push a boat like that.. I would definetly see if you can put your motor on it, if you where going to buy yet.
