I don't know Sparkleberry Runner, but I do know that ricefield very well. In his defense, our "mud" is nothing like anything I have ever seen in Louisiana. Ours is sandy, no matter how black, and that particular spot is one of the many that isn't quite a sandbar but the concentration is high enough, that it can grab you. Not saying a GTR wouldn't run right through it, I haven't seen them in action enough to make an uneducated guess, but if there is one in the area, let's ride! If it goes better, I will admit it, I have no reason to be prejudice...and if it doesn't I will admit that too, if asked about it. Never hurts to know what each does best in...at least, not in my opinion

the reason a gtr would have made it is because we run faster therfore we have more momentum u were almost to the water but you know what they say close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades

i did that 3 days after i bought my boat and ended up about 150 yards in a pond on top mud and lillys at 4:30 in the afternoon the day after christmas last year and didnt get off till the next morning at 11:00 when wild life and fisheries finally got to me with an airboat.. wasnt a good day.. got stuck broke the pto switch and ran out of gas.. ohh and it was 26 degrees that night.. lucky to be here typing this story.. needless to say im a lil more conservative as to where i run alone..
