I saw 30 very briefly when it was new and stripped. I run 23-25 all day loaded to the gunnel with a not so new prop and a 35 GTR with an exhaust.
Not Tim, Andy. We are both down in Myrtle Grove. Shoot me an email and I'll let you drive it one afternoon, when I get a trailer that moves so I can bring it to GT to fix the trim.

If you want to drill through kevlar/carbon the best drill bit to use is a carbide drill. Just don't tweak the bit cause they snap easy! We used to use diamond grit coated hole saws that had very fine teeth for larger holes since a regular drill bit starts to delaminate the edges of the hole.
Over The Line can you tell me how well it has held up to stumps/log's etc. or do you not go over those sorts of things much? Also does the boat have a core in the floor or is it just the glass/kevlar? If it does have a core how thick is the core? If it is just laminate then how thick is the floor laminate? Do you know the ply schedule?
Looks like from the 3 pictures of the layup above they were using knit aramid/kevlar instead of woven. That is good for impact.
JD I am still interested in your design if you still want to share it. Learning from others will save me alot of grief in the shapes that work well...and I only have enough material for one shot at the hull.

Talk to CAT 5 about the technical stuff. "I know how to ride em but I don't know what makes em go"
I am soft marsh and grass. Odd piece of hurricane trash or old piling but no hard hits.
