I had one and liked it. Sold it bought a 935 tho.....then went back with an original 390 silver mallard. I like the semi humpback reciever vs the rounded.

I love the 390 receiver but couldn't find one local and reasonable. So far I love the 9301. Went 7 for 7 over the weekend which is impressive for this guy. I'm normally about 1 for 5 on my ducks to shots ratio :)

Ive shot about 300 rounds through mine in the last month and I like it and it pretty easy to break down . Just don't leave the barrel wet at all it rust quick

I have the original 390.... Which is basically the same gun. It's been my favorite shotgun for over a decade now. Can't tell you how many thousands of shells it has cycled. Recoil spring in the stock is finally rusted and giving out, gonna get replaced with a sure cycle.

It's a very good gun. My wife's uncle has owned a 390 for about 10 years now also and he's still using it. The mossberg semi auto is also a good gun but I'd still go with the Beretta.

I actually got rid of a mossberg to get the beretta. My 935 shot everything I put in it. I was just concerned with how long it would last. I do like in the beretta manual where it says they build guns that "break in" not "wear out" so far I love it

Never had a single problems with rust on the old 390.... The rusty recoil spring is a result of a decade of field use with no cleaning. The rest of the gun has always been kept spotless, but I've never taken the stock apart to clean that spring. And just to make sure we're all on the same page..... I never said the rusty spring stopped the gun from working.
