for the past couple months, weve been batlling with both dogs getiin full of fleas. theyre both on frontline,and I treat the yard regularly also. Im having to constantly spray them with Adams, and you can see the fleas rise to the top of the coat. one dog stays outside in a kennel, and i keep it treated, and the other is an inside dog. i never see them IN the house, just on the dogs. what do yall use and what do you recommend I do differently?

I have good luck with frontline, that's a hardcore problem you got, I'd call your vet and see what they say.

i use confortus pill once a month the fleas will not get on them cost $20 a month from the vet

yep. ive tried three different kinds. my dad owns a feed store out here and ive been trying the recommendations of the different reps.

You tried demon!! The one I used is tronger than demon but can't remember the name I think it's a number for the name lol

worked for a vet for 9 years. First off is how are you apllying the frontline? Directly on the skin between the shoulder blades? Keep them dry for at least 24hrs. You stated you see fleas on top the coat? If this is true then it is working. Fleas do not like sunlight that is why they hide under the coat. The fleas on top are dissoriented from the chemical and will soon die. It does take a few days for the oil to disperse through the skin. During bad infestation its best to apply every 3 weeks due to the potency lessens as time goes by. The less often you bathe them the longer the chemical stays with them.
The adult flea makes up 5% of the total popuation which is only what frontline kills. This makes it seems that it is not working when in reality it is. It is just other fleas are finally cathing up to the adult part of thier life cycle. In other words new fleas are being born everyday until the adult fleas are killed and quit laying eggs. Best thing is to kill fleas throughout thier life cycle with other treatments. The stages that involve the egg, puppa, and adult can be treated: the larva stage cannot. Frontline, comfortis, advantage,advantix,etc ........ are all good products you just need to find the right one for your situation and ensure that it is applied correctly. Hope this helps
