Playin at GSU with the new 23hp

We saw quite a few reds on way in...and yes it was in good shape, i found out that a stock 23hp once stopped in no water has the push, just not enough...was able to go but not step up to full speed...definately learned my limitations...40" shaft option i believed saved me from makin a phone call from a spot way in the back, 3rd time to take it out so still getting use to it

23 GTR makes a difference!

From someone who has 1st hand experience with it, ya better put some padding on those straps from the transom to the bench. One day you'll be standing up & straddling the bench (yes you will, don't say you won't) and you're gonna crack your shin bone on the port side strap. Believe me, it forkin hurts, bad. I did it 2 yrs ago & can still feel the spot on the bone where it hit.
