 Sommerville Texas
Does anybody have any info on hunting this lake. I've fished and camped out there but never hunted it although I've heard it's pretty good.

 Re: Sommerville Texas
I have always heard it was awesome hunting.
There is a dude on the Fuge that hunts it and is an expert at all things waterfowl and Mud Motor Related.
Make you a post over there about Sommerville and ask Leaky Wader to offer some advice.

 Re: Sommerville Texas
The Corps there does a draw for blind spots every year. Lots of folks in certain areas but get out and find some spots away from folks. This year there was VERY little water. Flag pond is one of the most crowded spots there but can be great hunting. Do some scouting around the lake and you will find there are other public duck hunting opportunities without the crowds.
