Alright im new to the forum and have already learned a ton just by reading everything thats already posted. I found a Lowe 1960 roughneck with a 29hp Kawasaki Mud buddy Longtail and i was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on how that would perform with that big of a boat? I wont be running open water to awful much, mostly river runnin and shallow lakes. Thanks

alright, it will see some open water just to get to where im going but other than that itll be rivers. For around 6 i think its a good deal, motor has 28 hours on it

take it for a test drive before you buy. don't expect a speed demon with a boat that big.

yea im not expecting a lot of speed. ill probably end up swapping the motor over to somethin like a 16' and maybe a surface drive on this one...down the road of course. i dont know much about them but it seems like a good deal at 6,000?
