Well weather man is calling for partly cloudy skies in the AM, then Sunny. Winds, N/NE @ 10, it appears it will switch Friday. I was going to be fishing Saturday until I saw the front coming through on Friday.

I don't think I can pass up an opportunity to go play in some mud for the first time in awhile... and who knows what the weather will do later this month for the SETX ride. If you want to ride the area and get a feel of what to expect for later in the month send me a PM. I'll be driving from Houston and anyone is welcome to follow or meet up.

I'm planning on getting to the ramp at 10AM and riding until 3PM. We have a number of members from that area so hopefully a few of them will be able to come out as well.

I ran it tuesday and the mud was nice had about a inch of water on it. yall will freek when yall see all the ducks sitting on the flat before the mud flat!

dude there are so many ducks sitting in the west side of the neches lower unit.....I have never seen that many ducks on that piece of water ever.

I believe those ducks on the west side of Lower Neches are feedin on all that dredge material they filled the back side of that levee with. Fresh turned over marsh bottom means life is good for a duck.

You are prolly right...... kinda like all the blackbirds in a plowed field.

It's between low and high tide now and when I went by there this a.m. but both times the water was real high.. maybe this north wind will push some water out over night...

I just got off the phone with dustin and he is gonna be there too.
