 long shaft to short shaftcan you go from a long shaft PD to a short shaft.

Re: long shaft to short shaft Yeah it CAN be done, but is gonna require some swapping a new short shaft lower unit and a short shaft motor mount.

Re: long shaft to short shaft lower units are da same, just a few parts in between are different.
For da last 3 or 4 yrs the additional spacer for da tower housing has been welded in place..... you'd have to take a cuttin' torch to it.
