Is there anyway to prevent a puppy from chewing everything? Could you maybe flood him with chew toys?

It is a lab. They chew. Just have to watch em every step of the way. Only let them chew up stuff you will allow. Have fun. Once you force fetch them at 6 months it usually stops.

Aright thanks for your help....when you say let them only chew things you allow....is that like toys, bones? Putting a bumper in the pen...would that be a bad idea?

Its kinda like having a baby.....some things you gotta dog proof. I trird to keep mine in the main fenced in yard behind the the house. Ended up having to fence off a 20x20 section just for him. He chewed the gas line off of the grill 2x, pool pump cord chewed in half, anything left on patio table or patio destroyed and chewed the wires in half that goes to my outside ac unit 2x......that's just a few things I can think of right off yhe bat. Had I not paid quite a bit for him he would probably be underground.

They kinda like a walking garbage disposal. Ended up having to put electricity around his fence too after he figured out he could climb and that the neighbors trash was fun to play with. He wouldn't tear up the bags of trash in their yard though. He would bring the shit back to our house and then tear into it.

I had 8 nice rose bushes in my backyard before my lab pup. That little bitch chewed up everyone, thorns and all. Puppies destroy shit, it's part of the game.
