Im not gonna bend the tabs on the cavitation plate to 45 degrees, im gonna leave them bent down just half way down. Any experience with that?

That's about how far mine are bent down. Probably will have to see if it works the best when you get in the water and start running it.

1st part of the transome build. It is just tack welded for operation.

Fresh off the welder. Still lots of slag!!! I will clean it off and it will be pretty. Transom base finished.

That is good to know!! I wasn't sure which one to get, but with a limited budget, the duromax should do just fine.
