 2nd Annual D'Arbonne Fun Run 4/14/12!!!Last year we did this and it went OK, but I want to do it sometime in April while it is still cool, the water is up, and the grass ain't too thick.
When sounds good to you guys? Thinking about pulling the trigger on the 14th and unless a ton of y'all can't make it that's what it will be. We would ride on the lake, and depending on river levels and if I can get some help from somebody that knows the area better, make a full day and have a ride on the bayou too. The best riding I've found has been on the North side of the lake, Off hwy 2. Easy to find, 1. Take exit 86 off I-20 and head North on HWY 33 (Farmerville HWY) 2. Stay on 33 until you get through Farmerville and take a Left onto HWY 2 (Bernice HWY) it will be right past The McDonalds 3. Stay on 2 and there is a boat ramp on each side of the bridge over the creek, we will play by ear which one to use. Any other questions feel free to ask. Been kinda worried about the ride, the lake is extremely high and has been closed to boat traffic for a few days but it's back open now and unless it rains like a cow pissin on a flat rock again we should be good. On a positive note, high water = no stumps (Woot Woot) and there will still be plenty of grass and shallow water to ride in.
