Word of warning...
Last 2 weekends the County Sherrif has been towing any vehilcles with expired tags or no tags on trailers and any vehicles not parked in the marked "designated" parking areas...
Saw about 6 get hauled off ---- imagine coming back to the ramp and your truck and trailer are gone... Not good....

Re: Sunday Run Baytown, TX anyone?
I'm sure I will be running that area again on Saturday. I have yet to venture up as far North as Wallisville and the old oil field I guess I need to link up with one of yall... I normally launch at Hugo the old duck camp I belonged to was demolished during Ike. There's a lot of laws that Gigafowl and I were talking about last night regarding hunting. I hunt from my boat can anyone give me advice on where to hunt that is boat blind friendly in this area where I wont get hauled off to jail or have boat / truck impounded and slapped with $5,000 fine or do I have to have a permit even more my boat to hunt Wallisville? I found some areas not inside the designated boundaries that I have been running at I don't venture to far North of I-10 if at all.

Re: Sunday Run Baytown, TX anyone?
Just remember that there are - in order of precidence:
Federal Laws - State Laws - County Laws - Watershed Laws
The State says that you can hunt out of your boat if you are in a tidal waterway accesable at mean sea level tides - and they prohibit your downrange shot landing on private property or a navigation channel.....
If that tidal waterway is in a Federally regulated or a watershed regulated jurisdiction you MUST check out the local rules that apply in addition to the state laws.... EXAMPLE - you may not hunt doves in the Wallisville Project at any time - nor geese except during the Regular Duck Season...
Always go seek out the Wardens in a particular areas and get written copies of the local rules - before going afield - that is the best advise...

But a fella with 3 or 4 sheets of 1/2" exterior plywood and 40 10' 2x4 wearin a tool belt and willin to work - might find himself with an "authorized user card" at the end of the day ! ! !
