 Re: prodrive clutch
Great question, Mine smoked yesterday while running in deep water at around 28 mph and it was 99* F. I ordered another but here is a thought, come up with an emergency clamp / coupler to lock the engine output to the LU to be able to limp back to the ramp. While I'm on a roll how about a pulley on top of the 36 B & S to rope start if the starter takes a dump? My Life, Past & Present http://www.crayonmedia.com/wayne/

 Re: prodrive clutch
I sure would like A pull start on my GTR also, just a lil insurance. I wouldn't think the 35 hp would break your arm though.. I pull started a Yamaha 225 hpdi on my buddys bay boat before with a bow rope. It was tough but we did it.

 Re: prodrive clutch
Numbers that came off of my new clutch a few months ago are as follows.
Warner Electric 5218126 JAN 24 10 09
This is also the same numbers that were on the old one I took off. It was on a 2010 PD.

 Re: prodrive clutch
The plot thickens. I had young eyes look at the tag on my purchased 2007 clutch. The numbers match the last posters Warner Electric 5218126 Jun 18 07 10
Tomorrow I'll call a Warner dealer that is 4 miles from my home.

 Re: prodrive clutch
The new clutch arrived tonight UPS. The number on this one is
CMS (that is the type) 5218261 Apr 23 12 (date) 17 (maybe production run?)
looks about the same but the change of the last three numbers leaves me wondering? Also the wire harness came separate and not molded into the coil as my original.
