 Prop Advice
I'm running a longtail powered by a honda gx390 13 hp, I've decided after replacing the governor (previously over reved and just finished fixing the damage) that I will keep it goverened. With this setup whats the best prop to run/what is everyone else running? What is the biggest prop I can turn with that motor governed at around 3600 rpms but maxing out its power? Also I'm considering switching to a 16 hp brigs and would have the same question with that setup. Don't want to do anything to the engine to mess up the reliability as thats more important to me than speed but I do want to make sure I'm getting the most out of what I do have. Thanks

 Re: Prop Advice
your new - so here's some grace:
First - be ready for everyone to tell you to use the search function
Second - there is a Prop/Lower unit thread in this forum
Third - I'll be nice - go look at BackWaterInc.com they have the best props in my opinion. Tell him what you want and they should sort you out.

 Re: Prop Advice
Thanks I definately have some to learn. I have tried the search function before with success for other questions I've had but couldnt get exactly what I was looking for with this question (maybe I'm just missing something). I'll have to get in touch with them as I was looking at their props earlier and they seem to rate them on hp instead of pitch which I thought was interesting.
