Hey guys. Reposting the details of this year's lake Seminole poker run.
Please post up if you are planning on attending, if you are bringing a boat, and how many people you have coming with you. If you know of other non-members coming please let me know. Trying to get a rough head count. I'm also re-posting all the details here.

Date: Saturday, July 28th

Location: Lake Seminole - we will Launch from Reynold's Landing right beside Big Jim's Oyster Bar (7863 Reynolds Landing Road Donalsonville, Ga. 39845)

Schedule of Events:

9AM - Meet and Greet/Launching Boats
10AM - 1PM - Poker Run on the Lake
1PM - 2PM - Lunch at Big Jim's Oyster Bar
2PM-4:30PM - Announcement of Poker run Winner(s) and Raffle!
4:30PM - Dark - Trail rides/recreational time
Dinner will be provided

1 boat. No confirmed riders yet. Guess they don't want to mess their hair up when the Go-Devil barks.

Is there a good ramp on the east side of the lake where we can put it and shoot across instead off driving to Kentucky to get back down to the Reynolds ramp?

You can put in at Jack Wingates, Faceville, or Booster Club landing. Jacks would be closest. Probably save you 20 minutes of driving time.

Putting in at wingate will save you bout 25 mins truck time and add 15 mins boat time. PM me if you want directions across the lake to big jims.

Anybody else coming? Seems like there was a lot of trash talking in the other post about coming!

I've found if I slow down at night, I can see better because the light will get back in front of the boat.

It's not fast, it'll just carry your boat and still plane out. LOL

That's 45 people. Should have well over 20 boats as well.
There's possibly more..but that's just everybody that's responded to this thread and similar threads on other forums.
Ya'll be sure to bring some cash too for chances to win some of our great raffle items!
The poker run will also be ~20 per boat as well....plus t-shirts and coozies for the event available!

dang camo, thanks! I loves me some urnge. Hope to get a shot at that one. We all really appreciate the calls. These and other donations will help to make some youth waterfowlers very happy campers

Great turnout guys! Thanks to all who donated and thanks to all that bought raffle tickets. We raised over 2500 bucks for the kids!

First, I'd like to think all of you that participated is our event. There were a lot of new comers this year, and it seems like they all had a great time.

We sold out of all the t-shirts and I am placing another order today for some more. The raffle was a huge success as well. The guy that won the poker run bought raffle tickets with every nickel of his winnings and ended walking away with a couple hundred dollars worth of raffle prizes.

I'd like to encourage those of you who couldn't make it to plan on coming next year. There's no doubt you'll have a good time.

JB, I just saw where you had asked me a while back if I was gonna make this ride. My buddy from here that was considering going, so I backed out too, but I ended up heading to Henderson Friday for that run. I'd still like to come East sometime to see what yall got too though. Hope yalls ride was as big of a success as ours was.
