 help !?!?!??! taking motor off frame
how in the hell does this disassemble??????? does it slide off the shaft or what??? any suggestions would be helpful.. i tryed pulling and prying that shaft off of the motor crankshaft but nothings giving...

I dont know about doing his homework, but you should be able to remove the engine by taking out the set screw on the yoke attached to the shaft behind the pillow block (which isnt nesesary). Then undo the lock collar behind the pillow block and slide the engine out horizontally. Make sure you undo the bolts that hold the engine down... that shaft extension doesnt make since to me but sometimes people do dumb shit for a reason...

The bolt head that you can see in the end of the saft in the u joint is a bolt that goes through to the output shaft on a motor. The reason for the shaft extension is the engine has a tapered shaft from a generator so the only way to get back to a 3/4" shaft was to use the shaft from the generator. If you cant tell by now I am the builder. I'm sure I will now catch heck for my work but its what I had to work with.
